AR Rahman misses an Oscar

Sad news for all Rahmaniac's out there.Our idol just lost the Golden globe award.Rahman's 'If i Rise' from Danny Boyle directed 127 hour's was one of the nominee's for the Oscar.But sadly they lost out to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross who composed the music for Social Network,The film on facebook founder.

'If i rise' had won many other awards and was a fan favourite to win the Oscar.Anyway there is always a next time.Go ARR ;-)

Surya's 'Maatraan' directed by KV Anand

KV Anand join hands again with Surya Sivakumar after the big success of blockbuster Ayan.The film is produced by AGS films.The music of the film is by Harris Jeyaraj and is scripted by Subha.Now Anand is busy with post production work of his soon going to be released film titled 'Ko' starring Jiva.The shoot of the film is starting soon after surya finishes shooting of 'Ezham Arivu'

After the big success of 'My Name is Khan' Karan Johar has announced his next film titled 'Student of the Year' and it star's three debutant's in main roles they are Siddharth Malhotra,Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.Alia Bhatt happens to be the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Varun Dhawan is the son of David Dhawan.The film revolves around these three main character's.The film is produced by Shahrukh Khan and Karan Johar.

'Force' will John Abraham doing an action role as a police officer an encounter specialist.The film is a remake of Surya's hit 'Kaakha Kaakha' in tamil which also starred his wife Jyothika as the female lead.The film is directed by Nishikant Kamat and is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.The film has a gripping story with romance on side and duty in another.Genelia D'souza plays the female lead in this film.This will be shot in India and it has been long since John has acted in a film in india.He last played Jhootha hi Sahi and Dostana which were shot outside India.

Nayantara and Prabhu Deva are all set to tie the knot at Chennai by mid june 2011.The couple has been on the spotlight since two year's now.The marriage was first to be held at Hyderabad,now it's being heard that she wanted to change the venue to Chennai and Prabhu agreed right away.

Prabhu Deva though is still to get divorced from his earlier wife Ramalatha.They had recently agreed to divorce by mutual consent.Prakash Raj and now Prabhu deva,seems like everyone want's young girls,is there anyone in this industry who really cares about their family?.

Myshkin's 'Nandalala' a mindblowing film

I saw it finally,Myshkin's third venture where he acted as one of the protagonist along with Aswant Ram who plays a school kid in this flick.The film story revolves around two character's a mentally retarded man played by the director himself and a child who are on a journey to meet their mother's.Destiny brings them together and they go in search of their mother's together.The kid wants to see his mother,who had left him with his grandmother at a young age,while the Myshkin's character wants to see his mother and ask her why she left him at the mental asylum at a young age.

Their journey shows how different people are and emotion's flow through out the film,There are some really disturbing scene's in the film like the one where two man harasses a lady over a cast issue.The film also has a great deal of comic scenes like the one where they meet a police jeep.The film turns a dramatic turn when they find their mother's.Illayaraja sir's BGM's are mind blowing so are the song's especially the 'Onnukunnu' song sung by  Yesudas is a reminder that Illayaraja sir is still at his best.The cinematography is the best,the camera angles.The climax scene stands out with the last song.

All together a great film from Myshkin.I would recommend all cinema lover's to watch this film ASAP.Myshkin once again proves that he is one great director.Looking forward to more films from him.

Sign into multipe Google accounts from same browser tweak

Well i have 2 gmail accounts and my dedicated mail account and blogger account are on one while orkut page is on another,While browsing i usually switch account's which result in all my google services being logged out of one account and going to the other.This was really irritating to me when i was busy with some other work.I used to open up chrome and firefox and login for this,but i am really in love with chrome that i dont like Firefox anymore.So how do i get both my google account's to work in the same browser?




Yesterday as i was going through my google accounts page i saw this.This feature can be enabled or disabled from our google account's page.

• Just Click on and select all and then save.

That's it now you can access multiple google accounts from the same page.

After playing the role of a courageous lady in No one killed Jessica alongside Rani Mukherjee,Vidya Balan is all set to play the lead role in 'Dirty Picture' a film on the life of Southern sex bomb Silk Smitha.Who was a very sought out item number actress in the eighties.In 1996, Smitha was found dead in her Chennai apartment. The previous year she had tried to shift her career to become a film producer. Financial problems, a disillusionment in love and an alcohol dependency apparently led to a depression.She was aged 35 when she died.

Well this is totally different from what Vidya Balan has done in the past,will be interesting to watch how she plays this role.

Last Thursday(January 6th) was a very special day for music lover's in India,45 years ago on this day was born Dileep Kumar to famous music composer R.K Shekhar,who decades after changed his name to Allah Rakha Rahman and bought india fame by being the first Indian to win two Oscars for his music score 'Jai Ho' in Danny Boyle directed Slumdog Millionaire.He also recieved two Grammy's and a golden globe award.We wish him a belated B'day wish and may god bless him,and let him keep on giving us eternal music and make us proud on the global stage.

Aishwarya Rai is all upset with Fashion magazine Elle with whom she had done a photoshoot recently,The reason being Aishwarya's photo on their cover page being digitally bleached though the photos inside had her normal colour tone.Aishwarya's fans feel that the photo was digitally lightened to avoid racial discrimination.

The magazine says that they haven't lightened the photo not more than the those of the other models who had posed along with her.The latest we hear is that Aishwarya rai is getting ready to take legal action the world famous magazine.
